Super Bowl XLVIII

So, the Forty Eighth Super Bowl was last night. Siri gave me the full information on the results.

Perhaps not the most exciting game, with the Broncos giving a two points to Seattle in the first play of the game, compared a win by the Baltimore Ravens of only three points last year, but there were several interesting records broken. First off, this was the Seahawk’s first Super Bowl win. Also, the Seahawk’s tied with the Miami Dolphins (for their Super Bowl win in 1972) for the team with the youngest average age to win the Super Bowl at 26.4 years old. The Seahawks also got a kick return for a Touch Down and an interception for a Touch Down in the same game. I think there also may have been a record for the most fights requiring referee intervention as well. But maybe that’s just my imagination…

Definitely some interesting stuff happening. Did you watch the Super Bowl XLVIII? What other records do you know of? Let us know in the comments below.
